July is officially over, so it’s time for another Portfolio Update.
Portfolio Performance for July
My portfolio is up by 2.83% for the month of July. This is 2.1% lower compared to the June performance but overall, a good increase still.

Portfolio Details

Deposits made
I have added $90 to my account which brings my total deposits to $1801.
Dividends earned
I’ve received a net dividend of $2.08 this month, bringing the total net dividends earned to $16.91.
Current Growth
My investment grew by 12.86% since I started. That’s $212.27 in terms of dollar value.
Portfolio Allocation

Staying true to my plan, half of my entire portfolio is composed of VOO and SCHD. In the image above, since it includes the balance, it shows that the allocation is 21-22%. But if you remove the cash balance that I have in eToro, VOO sits at 23.64% while SCHD is at 24.24%. My target is 25% for each of them.
QQQ is the 3rd biggest in my portfolio. The actual allocated amount is actually 12.2% which is above my 11% goal for the said ETF.
Comparison to the S&P 500 Index
With the additional 2.83% increase, my portfolio’s year-to-date performance is at 16.02%. However, this is lower than that of the S&P 500 overall YTD return of 19.2%.
That said, the gap is shrinking compared to the previous months. Do you know what the reason is? This is because SCHD is finally starting to recover. As you can see, SCHD is now green (1.1%) in my portfolio compared to last month wherein it was at -2.86%.
Kuya Well’s Corner
So, I’ve finally hit the $2K mark.
At syempre, tuloy-tuloy lang ang pag-invest ng inyong PoorPinoyInvestor sa US stock market. Since ang portfolio ko is geared towards dividend investing mixed with growth, continues lang ang pag-iinvest natin until retirement.
And gaya nga ng sabi natin dati, I also have investments on other instruments which I’ll discuss soon pag nakaluwag-luwag sa oras. I’ve been busy these past months kaya di masyado nakakapagpost.
