Starting March 1, 2024, the new interest rate is now pegged at 4% per annum from the previous 5%.

Any other changes?

Other than the change in the interest rate per annum, there are no other changes to GoTyme. They have retained their “no-cap” policy which means that no matter how much you deposit, you will earn 4% interest per annum. If you’re not aware, some digital banks offer high interest rates due to their promo but the higher interest rate is applicable only up to a certain deposit amount.

Take note that interests earned from banks (digital or non-digital) are subject to a 20% tax.
