The 10% interest boost of Maya Savings which was introduced on March 7, 2023, has been extended and will continue to run in the month of May.

How to get up to 10% p.a. interest?

  • 4% base interest
  • +1% bonus interest when you spend Php250
  • +1% bonus interest when you have a total spend of Php1,000
  • +2% bonus interest for a total spend of Php20,000
  • +2% bonus interest after accumulating a total spend of Php30,000

Note: The bonus interest will only apply to deposits up to the first 100K.

“Total spend” refers to accumulated payments on the following:

  • Bills
  • Buy load
  • Shopping using your Maya card
  • Book flights and hotels
  • Paying for tuition or rent

Important: ensure that your Maya app is using the latest version.

Blogger’s Note

I’m glad that Maya has decided to keep the current boost promo. Ang sarap kaya makakita ng dagdag na interest sa savings mo, di ba?

Oh, one more thing. Antayin mong mag May 1st bago ka magbayad ng bills (as long as di pa sila due) para mareflect sya sa May promo. Kung ngayong April ka kasi magbayad ura-urada, mag-apply yan sa “total spend” mo for April.
