Poor Pinoy Investor US Stock Portfolio Update (October 2023)

It’s a little bit late for the portfolio update but here we are.

Portfolio Performance for September

It’s another red month, but this time, it’s a -4.99%. Technically, the combined August and September performances negated the portfolio growth I had for June and July. With this, my portfolio’s year-to-date performance is now just sitting at 7.73%.

Portfolio Details

Deposits made

I deposited $70 for September, bringing the total investment to $1961.

Dividends earned

September is the month that I’ve earned the highest amount of dividends so far. Net dividends earned is $4.9 with the following breakdown:

  • JNJ – $0.25
  • O – $0.18
  • MSFT – $0.34
  • SCHD – $2.82
  • TROW – $0.64

Current Growth

A drawback on the portfolio growth since it’s now at 3.32%.

Portfolio Allocation

I’m still in the process of making sure that both VOO and SCHD are given a 25% allocation each. They’re currently both sitting at 23.86%.

    Kuya Well’s Corner

The September pullback is expected. If you check the previous years, September is usually a red month. So far, the month of October is showing a positive sign but let’s see how it goes until the 31st. As for me, my focus is long term.
