Since this is a personal finance blog, what good is it if I don’t provide you with an update on my stock portfolio? So for today’s blog, let me show you the performance of my US stock investment over at eToro.
Year-to-date performance

As of May, my portfolio is up by 7.15%. However, if we include last year’s performance (I started investing on eToro on September 2022), my portfolio is up by 5.83%. Please note that this doesn’t include earnings from dividends. If we factor in dividends, my entire portfolio has increased by 6.5%.
Individual stock/ETF performance

My US stock portfolio is comprised of 3 ETFs (SCHD, VOO, and QQQ) and 9 individual stocks. All of them are earning dividends since my investment strategy is dividend + growth.
As you can see, Microsoft and Apple stocks are my best performers, although they are only 3rd and 4th respectively in terms of value and actual investment. ETFs make up 57% of my current portfolio, although my goal is for those 3 ETFs to comprise 61% of my total portfolio while the rest will be allocated to individual stocks.
Not shown in the image is my cash balance which is at 7.02% of the total value of my portfolio. I tend to keep cash in my eToro account since I dollar-cost average but only buy when the market is in Red.
Blogger’s Note
This is just my US stock portfolio. I have other investments as well. I own local stocks (PSE), though I don’t add any more money to them since my focus is on US stocks for now. I invest also in Mutual funds, cryptocurrency, and Pag-IBIG MP2.
I’ll probably show you how I fare on those as well but in due time.
