1. “Account Name Does Not Match SSS Record”
This is the most common issue when linking your DAEM account.

How to Fix It:
- Make sure your bank or e-wallet account name exactly matches your SSS name — same spelling, same format.
- If your bank record uses your full middle name, update your SSS record to match (or vice versa).
- You can update your member info using the Member Data Change Request (E-5 Form) at any SSS branch.
2. “Unsupported Bank or E-Wallet”
Not all banks and e-wallets are currently accepted by SSS.
Some users try to register Maya, SeaBank, or CIMB, only to find out they’re not yet supported under DAEM.
How to Fix It:
Use one of the officially accepted options as of 2025:
- UnionBank (recommended — fast approval)
- DBP (Development Bank of the Philippines)
- LandBank
- GCash
- UCPB (now part of LANDBANK)
Avoid using newer digital banks unless SSS officially lists them.
3. “Invalid or Wrong Account Number”
Another common rejection happens when members input the wrong number format — especially for e-wallets like GCash.
How to Fix It:
- For GCash, use your 11-digit mobile number (ex: 09171234567).
- For UnionBank, use the 12-digit account number, not the card number.
- Double-check you’re not adding extra spaces or characters.
If you’re unsure, log in to your bank app and look for your actual account number, not your ATM card number.
4. “Uploaded Document Not Clear or Invalid”
If the document you uploaded (like ATM card or bank statement) is blurry, cropped, or missing details, SSS will reject your DAEM enrollment.
How to Fix It:
- Upload a clear photo or screenshot showing:
- Your name
- Bank name
- Account number
- Avoid reflective surfaces or cropped images.
- Acceptable proofs include:
- ATM card (front side)
- Bank statement
- Screenshot from your bank’s mobile app
Make sure the account name matches your SSS name exactly.
5. “Duplicate Account Already Enrolled”
If you try to enroll an account that’s already linked to another SSS member, it will automatically be rejected.

- A joint account is shared by two people, or
- A family member previously used the same account for their own loan.

- Only use personal single-name accounts.
- If your joint account is needed, open a new personal account under your name.
- Then re-enroll using that account.
6. “Pending for Approval” Too Long (No Update After Weeks)

How to Fix It:
- Check the email used in your SSS account — SSS usually sends approval or rejection notices there.

- Bring a printed copy of your upload if you visit an SSS branch for faster processing.
7. “Account Type Not Allowed”
Some banks automatically block payroll or secondary accounts from receiving SSS disbursements.
For example, if your UnionBank account is company-linked (payroll), it may not work for DAEM.
How to Fix It:
- Use a personal savings account instead of a company payroll account.
- You can open a new UnionBank or LandBank account online under your name only.
8. “System Error” or “Cannot Proceed”
At times, the DAEM module simply doesn’t load or gives an error message even before uploading.
