Meron ka bang narinig na ₱2,000 na ipinapadala ng SSS sa ilang miyembro? Hindi ito scam. This is the government’s UPLIFT Program, and if your SSS salary credit falls below a certain threshold, may chance kang kasama.
Here’s everything confirmed so far, and what’s still pending official word from SSS itself.
What Is the UPLIFT Program?
UPLIFT stands for Unified Package for Livelihoods, Industry, Food, and Transport. It’s a cash assistance program that credits ₱2,000 per month to qualified low-income SSS members, running from July to December 2026. That’s up to ₱12,000 total across the six-month period if a household stays qualified the whole time.
The program was highlighted by President Marcos Jr. during his fifth State of the Nation Address on July 27, and it’s being implemented jointly by SSS and the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD).
Who Qualifies for the ₱2,000 UPLIFT Assistance
Based on confirmed criteria from SSS and DSWD, a member must meet all of the following:
Employment status. You must be currently employed and listed in the Philippine Statistics Authority’s 2024 Community-Based Monitoring System (CBMS).
Salary credit ceiling. Your monthly salary credit must be ₱20,000 or below (some official releases cite the exact figure as ₱20,249). Take note: salary credit is not the same as your actual salary. It’s the bracket SSS uses to compute your contributions, so kahit medyo mataas ang sahod mo, puwede pa ring bumaba ang salary credit mo depende sa bracket. If you’re unsure how salary credit relates to your actual take-home pay, our net salary calculator can help you see where your numbers land.
Contribution history. You need at least one posted SSS contribution from 2025 to 2026.
Enrolled disbursement account. You must have a disbursement account enrolled through the Disbursement Account Enrollment Module in your My.SSS account, and this must have been set up on or before April 30, 2026. Kung wala kang naka-enroll na account before this cutoff, hindi ka na masasali sa batch na ito.
One per household. If multiple qualified SSS members belong to the same household, only the oldest member is eligible. This prevents multiple payouts going to the same household.
How the Money Gets to You
There’s no application form to fill out. The crediting is meant to be automatic: SSS’s individual database gets matched against CBMS household data, and if you clear all four criteria above, the ₱2,000 lands directly in your enrolled bank account every month from July through December.
Confirmed Payout Updates (Tracker)
Last updated: August 8, 2026
No official payout calendar for August through December has been released by SSS or DSWD. If you see specific dates circulating online for the remaining months, treat them as unverified until either agency confirms them directly. This tracker will be updated as new details are confirmed.
July 2026: Initial Payout Released
The first ₱2,000 tranche went out manually, starting mid-July, rolled out region by region rather than all at once. As of August 3, 2026, DSWD reported that over 978,000 of the estimated 1.5 million eligible low-income SSS members (Group 3) had already received their initial payout.
August 2026 Onward: Shift to Digital Disbursement
According to DSWD, the remaining five monthly payments (August through December) are expected to move from manual release to digital disbursement through GCash or LandBank. An exact start date for this shift hasn’t been officially confirmed yet, but this is the detail worth watching closely since it directly affects how and when you’ll actually see the money.
What We’re Still Waiting On
- Exact disbursement dates for August through December
- Confirmation of which beneficiaries will use GCash vs LandBank for digital payouts
- Any official statement directly from SSS itself (most confirmations so far have come from DSWD, not SSS)
Watch Out for Scams
Ito ang pinaka-importanteng paalala: SSS has explicitly warned members not to respond to text messages or emails asking for one-time passwords (OTPs), and not to click suspicious links claiming to help you “claim” your UPLIFT assistance. If you already meet the criteria and have an enrolled disbursement account, the crediting happens automatically. Walang kailangang i-confirm sa random na text o email.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to apply for the UPLIFT ₱2,000 assistance?
No. If you meet all four qualification criteria (CBMS listing, salary credit within the threshold, at least one 2025-2026 contribution, and an enrolled disbursement account as of April 30, 2026), the crediting is automatic.
What if I don’t have a disbursement account enrolled?
Unfortunately, the cutoff for this round was April 30, 2026. If you didn’t enroll by then, you won’t qualify for this particular batch of payouts.
Is salary credit the same as my monthly salary?
No. Salary credit is the bracket SSS assigns for computing your contributions, which can differ from your actual take-home pay. You can check how these numbers compare using our net salary calculator.
What if two people in my household both qualify?
Only the oldest qualified member of the household will receive the assistance. This is meant to prevent duplicate payouts to a single household.
How will I know if I’ve received the money?
Check your enrolled disbursement account directly. Avoid clicking links from unsolicited texts or emails claiming to confirm your eligibility.
Will I still get my ₱2,000 if the payout method changes to GCash or LandBank?
Yes. The shift to digital disbursement is a change in how the money is delivered, not a change in eligibility or amount. If you’re already confirmed as a qualified Group 3 beneficiary, you’ll still receive your ₱2,000 monthly, just through a digital wallet or bank account instead of a manual release.
Has SSS released an official calendar yet?
No. As of this update, all confirmations have come from DSWD press briefings and regional field reports, not from SSS directly. We’ll update this article the moment either agency publishes actual dates.
