Update (August 9, 2026): Virtual Pag-IBIG’s website and mobile app are back online. If you were affected by the earlier outage, you should now be able to log in, check your account, and complete transactions normally. The details below remain for reference on what happened and what was affected.
If you were trying to log in to Virtual Pag-IBIG earlier and got an “ADVISORY” page instead of your dashboard, here’s what happened. Pag-IBIG Fund confirmed that both Virtual Pag-IBIG’s browser-based services and its mobile app were temporarily unavailable due to scheduled system maintenance. Services have since been restored.
Official Statement from Pag-IBIG Fund
Posted on Pag-IBIG Fund’s official Facebook page:
“In line with our commitment to providing secure and reliable online services, please be advised that Pag-IBIG Fund’s browser-based online services and the Virtual Pag-IBIG Mobile App are temporarily unavailable due to scheduled system maintenance.”
“Our Lingkod Pag-IBIG team is working to complete the maintenance activities and restore all affected online services as soon as possible.”
Pag-IBIG confirmed this was planned, scheduled maintenance, not an unexpected outage.
Status: Resolved as of August 9, 2026. Services are back online as normal.
What Was Affected During the Outage
Since the maintenance covered both the website and mobile app, any transaction requiring Virtual Pag-IBIG access was affected, including:
- New member registration
- Checking your Pag-IBIG savings or loan balance
- SAFE Loan applications
- MP2 savings enrollment and withdrawal requests
- MP2 payments via QR Ph, including through Maribank, since that method generates its QR code directly from Virtual Pag-IBIG
- Loan status verification
If your MP2 payment or loan transaction failed during this window, you can now safely retry it.
Official Contact Channels
These remain open regardless of outage status:

What to Do If You Were Affected
- Retry any transaction that failed during the outage window, including MP2 payments via GCash, Maya, or Maribank
- Check your account to confirm any pending transactions went through correctly
- If something still isn’t reflecting properly after the restoration, contact Pag-IBIG through the channels above rather than assuming it’s still down
FAQs
Is Virtual Pag-IBIG working now?
Yes, as of August 9, 2026, both the website and mobile app are back online after the scheduled maintenance.
I tried an MP2 payment during the outage and I’m not sure if it went through. What should I do?
Log in to Virtual Pag-IBIG now that services are restored and check your transaction history. If a payment appears to have failed or isn’t reflected, contact Pag-IBIG directly through their hotline or email rather than attempting the payment multiple times.
Is this a hack or security issue?
No. Pag-IBIG Fund’s official statement frames this as scheduled maintenance specifically to improve the security and reliability of their online services, not a response to any breach.
Does this affect the mobile app too?
Yes, the mobile app was affected alongside the website during the maintenance window, per Pag-IBIG’s official advisory. Both are now back online.
